Friday evening, and couldn't wait to get home. People had plans for the christmas weekend so wasnt expecting too much. Goodbyes said and not too much drama. Saturday evening, Jayshree came to pick us up. Went to Walmart and then Linen and things. Had liked this microwaveable egg boiler at her place, and was thinking of picking it up.
However, at the last minute decided i'll wait till it comes to India. Dont know how long that will take though, cos still waiting for Pyrex to happen.
Had yummy soft rava idlis at her place and came home satiated. Not much to do, so generally surfed around a bit and went off to sleep.
Sunday, Jayashree come by with a dabba of pulao, which she calls 'fried rice'. Should be called 'fried cashews' instead for the sheer number of fried cahews she had in there. Sunday was spent with Julia Roberts, watching back to back Erin Brokovich, Ocean's Eleven and Runaway Bride.
Monday - and still hadnt started with the documment I was supposed to turn in by tuesday. Sometimes no friends online can be a blessing. Finished most of it, and had an ok dinner of rice and tamarind chutney that jayashree left behind.
Am running out of paper plates now, will have to pick up some. and maybe food enough to see me through sunday noon, after which it is Bye Bye America!
