An eventful day

Well actually the events started from last night - came home with a high fever and shivering like a leaf. Dont know if it was the accumulated stress of so many days, or the sheer panic of catching a train at 6:30 am. But I was so mad at me for falling sick on the evening just before the BIG day. Anyways, so called the cab at 6:15 am, set the alarm for 5:30 am, popped a combiflam, and tried hard to sleep.
Was difficut, woke up a couple of times sweating profusely, and finally just lay down in bed till the alarm went off. Things went on pretty smoothly till i reached the train station, when chi chi called to say she had left her laptop home, and i need to go ahead on my own. Strangely, i didnt feel nervous at all, and got into the train quite confidently. However, once the train started, got a panic attacke and asked about three different people if I was on the right train!
Chi chi maanged to make it to the NY Penn station within 5 minutes of my arrival there. We took a cab to office, and the cab driver seemed to be on drugs. He rode like a maniac and then started flirting with us, to the point of even calling us back after we made a hasty dash for the building.
The rest of the day was OK, the presentation went well, had a chipotle chicken broth for lunch and a krispy kreme doughnut on the train station, on the way back home.
That doughnut, by the way, mmmelts in the mouth!
Got home, and got on gtalk - what else:)
